In His Steps LA has a proprietary curriculum designed for families who want to learn Biblical
truths and have high values and set standards above the typical citizen who has little regard for
humanity and their Creator. We must pray for one another as we are kind and do good to especially those who are hurting and in despair.
Ms Mitchell has been a private school teacher in Brevard County for over 35 years , starting out with Rockledge Christian School at its beginning. She taught at Odyssey Charter and went on to open her own daycare which grew by word of mouth from very happy campers!! Her SMAR2T Curriculum was designed to enhance learning in even the most challenging of students which gets them active and happily engaged in what ever they are studying. Science, Math, Arts (music and dance) Reading and Recreation (primarily outside), and finally Technology are the emphasis of IHSLA Curriculum , while using Hillsdale College , The Noah Project , Abeka Curriculum , and many Christian based resources.
Ms. Mitchell's expertise and credentials in Special Education and Middle School as well as Early Childhood , have given her the experience and energy to love teaching all students the wonders of this life and the life to come , looking forward to eternity with Jesus! May we grow together in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ, enriching our community in love and peace.
